Cookbooks with Gluten Free AND Vegetarian Recipes

Finding a good cookbook with the combination of vegetarian and gluten free can be hard work. That or we are very hard to please. Either way here’s the ones we liked or didn’t:


Vegetarian Cooking Without: Recipes free from added gluten, sugar, yeast, dairy products, meat, fish, saturated fat by Barbara Cousins – a super healthy cookbook indeed which produces some tasty treats but could do with photos.

Gluten-Free Recipes for the Conscious Cook: A Seasonal, Vegetarian Cookbook (Whole-Body Healing)

“Can’t see us using this book as the recipes are not that appealing and call for many ingredients which you can’t get in the UK. We are more open minded than some reviewers about trying out new things and tracking down unusual ingredients, especially being blessed with a great local health food store that has lots on offer and being adept otherwise at finding online food shops – but this book would just get dusty on the shelf so we are going to send it back. “
